"I AM the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob."

This is one of God's favorite title in scriptures. Have you ever wonder why He would call Himself this way?

Well, I would love to hear your thoughts and feedback regarding this question. To me, it is a great comfort to think that all three of these men whom God identified Himself with throughout scriptures had issues and failures during their journey to obey Him. Abraham' is from a pagan background. He told Sarah to lie about their relationship so He can live more than one time.

Isaac did the same thing with His wife to save his life, and who could forget Jacob, even the meaning of his name is a give away. stole his older brother's birthright with the assistance from his mom. so many other things that could easily disqualify them from being in the same circle as those whom God would associated Himself.

The beauty of the Bible is it's transparency and truth. It reveal man at their best and at their worst, but, it also reveal a Loving Gracious and Merciful God in His pursuit of relationship with fallen men and women. We are left with a written record of How God is not ashame to associate Himself with those who follow Him wholeheartedly inspite of their frailties.


God in our lifetime, what you did throughout scriptures, and throughout history, do it again through us. as we share your story of redemption with us, release the same annointing to do it with those who will read story.

In this time and season, the world is looking for reality and a true representation of Who matters the most. Christ's unconditional sacrifice embraced while we share truthfully and honestly how we dont deserve His love and forgiveness will attract the lost to a loving forgiving saviour who is still reaching out through our frailties.
